Game Description:
In a town on a lil' island, the people live simply, satisfied with village gossip. Until, one day, Godzilla appears! He hasn’t… done anything yet, but he could! He’s certainly been walking around the island menacingly! In this campy, theatrical, romantic comedy, play as the Hero, recruited to defeat Godzilla! But it doesn't go as planned. He asks you to do his shopping!! Take the list, get him gifts, make friends, and romantically set up the townsfolk! Maybe even YOU will fall in love!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Contributions:

Custom docs to do list calendar.
Was combined with brainstorming, so we were already there, and with such a small team, it didn’t get too cluttered.

Development
Narrative, gameplay, and level designer, working to marry these things into a fluid, exciting, and wonderful game
Art direction, concept art, illustration, and animation

Playtesting
QA/Playtesting once a week with colleagues and friends
Goal to make the level design fluid and logical, with moments where players say “Where do I go next? Oh! There it is!”

What I Learned:

With this team, I [produced, illustrated, wrote]. I learned to [make a full, interesting game with a rapid turnaround]. We cycled through a few different tools in creating this, and if we had to do this again I would’ve planned better for that.

Key Learnings:
With a fast turnaround, planning is key!! Otherwise you’re stuck writing a script at 4am. Be aware of time estimates and timeblock things out as close as you can.
Keeping on top of schedules, so that things aren’t left to the last moment. This can lead to bugs and otherwise unpolished end products
